self reflection on lang-8 post 1

In general, I think my first lang-8 post went relatively smoothly. I think I was able to relate what I was trying to say clearly, and I think I was able to incorporate a good amount of new grammar while doing so. The Lang-8 community was very helpful and responsive; they corrected my post 30 minutes after I posted it! As a result, I posted the revisions on my blog immediately by accident, instead of waiting until now to post them. That being said, while the community was able to help fix my grammar at certain points, my post still feels like it lacks a certain amount of flow to it, something that I hope to continue working on. It still feels like a series of loosely connected translations, which is something that I hope to change. However, I do think that given enough practice, I can continue to evolve my writing style to make it seem more Japanese.
